Kelly Rosinger, Ph.D
Asssociate Professor, Penn State
Kelly Rosinger is an associate professor in the Department of Education Policy Studies and a faculty affiliate in the School of Public Policy at Penn State University. Her research examines the barriers students face going to and through college and how federal, state, and college policies can be designed to support more equitable outcomes, especially for racially minoritized and low-income students.
Kelly has published research in Educational Researcher, Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis, AERA Open, Education Finance and Policy, Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, Review of Higher Education, The Journal of Higher Education, Research in Higher Education, and others. Her work has been highlighted by The New York Times, Washington Post, NPR, Chronicle of Higher Education, and Inside Higher Ed, among others.
Kelly was an Institute of Education Sciences’ postdoctoral fellow in education policy at the University of Virginia. She previously worked in undergraduate admissions at the University of Georgia.
